Sandhills Music Center was originally opened in Hope Mills in 2006 by Tony Vasquez and purchased by Matt Crump and his business partner at the time Jeff Hoglen. Matt and Jeff were both pastors who had a desire to open a music store to serve the community.
After a year, Matt bought
out the remaining portion of SMC and began it's journey
of growth. Sandhills was fortunate enough to be able
to move to a new location now in the Bordeaux shopping
center, conveniently located in Fayetteville, NC.
Matt is a vet from the US Army and has been married to his wife Robin for 22 years. Matt is also Executive Pastor at Crossroads UMC in Hope Mills, NC.
